Rather than take the loop trail, I took an out and back trail. I parked at Manker Campground and started at San Antonio Falls (~6000 ft elevation). People highly recommended taking the Ski Hut trail up and the Devil's Backbone down. I thought that the chances of getting lost are reduced significantly if I just do an out and back trail, and since the Devil's Backbone trail offered better views, I took that trail.br/ br/ I didn't take too many pictures going up as this hike was exhausting. This picture was one of the few I took on the way up, showing clouds rolling in from the Los Angeles side of the mountain.
