Sh2-188 and NGC457

This picture shows two open clusters and one planetary nebula. The open cluster in the top right is NGC436 and the one just ot the right of image center is NGC457. NGC457 is also known as the owl (or E.T.) cluster. If you have a hard time seeing the owl, follow this link. Planetary nebula Sh2-188 (Simeiz 22, LB633, PNG 128.0-04.1) is the faint shell to the left of the image center.

I was looking forward to taking this picture as it has been on my to-do list forever, and I was really bummed when clouds rolled in cutting the session short. Some H-alpha data would help a great deal in bringing out the nebula. Next time.
