B206 to B203

This image shows dark nebulas in Aries, and this region is right at the border of Aries, Taurus, and Perseus - it's about 5 degrees to the north from the Pleiades.

B206 and B204 are the dark nebulas in the lower left. B203 is the one in the upper right. Galactic nebula GN 03.22.1 is the faint brighter region just to the right of B203, while GN 03.24.7 is seen as a small bright section engulfed in the dark nebula in the lower left. There is a lot going on, so have a look at the map I created. A color image would have helped immensely, but I didn't have the time to shoot color frames. Perhaps next year.

Other notes:
It started out a quiet night on the mountain, but a wind had developed by midnight. Unfortunately I was not able to block it with my car, and this resulted in some not-so-perfect frames. I was hoping to also shoot another target between midnight and 5 am, but the wind made that impossible - no big deal.
I haven't been out in a while, mostly because of weather. I spent the time upgrading my galaxy imaging rig from 8quot; to 11quot; of aperture without changing the focal length. This should be a killer setup, and it'll hopefully see first light in January. I also spent some time with my visual setup in my backyard.
