V1331 Cyg

This field contains a busy region in Cygnus.
In the center is a yellow star, not very noteworthy, just a reference object. To the right is a blue star, another reference object. Right between them is a young star V1331 Cyg (look for a star surrounded by a gas shell), the main target. It is embedded in dark nebula LDN 981. Just below and to the right of the yellow star is the blue reflection nebula LBN 408, while to the left is a whiter nebula LBN 412. Below LBN 412 is another blue nebula LBN 409. Finally, at the bottom of the image is red emission nebula Sh2-120.
Alright, back to the yellow star near image center. Note the distance between it and LBN 408 (blue nebula to the bottom right of yellow star), now go the same distance again in the same direction, and you end up at a faint loop-like structure. This is GN 21.00.7 aka Herbig Haro 1051.

Other notes:
If you follow my pictures closely, (1) I feel sorry for you, and (2) you may have noticed that this is the first color image in ~4 years. As much as I love black/white images, there are occasions when a monochrome image fails to communicate some vital information. In this case, the blue nebulas would be indistinguishable from the white and red ones. Compare for yourself using one of my old pictures of the same region (though with far bigger issues than just the lack of color data).
The move to color was quite complex. Each filter has to be flat fielded - properly, each color needs to be exposed, ... all these things add process steps where things can go terribly wrong. So don't expect all future images to be in color. Overall, I am happy with the outcome, but I need to fine tune my technique.
I had the mountain to myself, which was amazing initially. I brought my 4quot; scope with me for some casual stargazing while the main scope was firing away. The highlight was seeing the dark nebula in the cocoon nebula area, flaked by two star clusters on either end.
But as time went on, four-legged visitors appeared - mice. I did my best to send them off: Loud noises, jumping up and down violently at their burrow entrances, throwing rocks in their direction, playing loud music. But nothing seems to have worked. I'll get some recordings of owls, and play them next time. Perhaps that will solve this issue.
